November 15th, 2024 will mark the 200th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty with the Quapaw,1824.
Today, the Quapaw Nation still holds a reservation in modern day northeastern Oklahoma.
This 200th Anniversary marks 200 years of survival, resilience and fortitude.
200 years of retention of a Quapaw sovereign government, language, cultural practices and land base.
200 years later, we are still here...
